Daron McCaslin, President (Term Expires: May 2028)

Daron McCaslin serves as the President and has been on the Board since 2003. He has lived in the Sheldon community for over 35 years. He and his wife Kathy have raised 4 children, all of which have gone to Sheldon ISD. He is a small business owner, Quality Printer Care, of 21 years in the Sheldon community.

Dale Langdon, Vice President (Term Expires: May 2030)

Dale Langdon serves as a County Commissioner and has been on the Board since 2013. He has lived in the Sheldon area for over 46 years. He is married to his high school sweet heart and they have two children both of which graduated from Sheldon ISD. He has been a volunteer Fire Fighter for 15 in this area. He loves to hunt, fish and camp with his family.

Don Nesbitt, Treasurer (Term Expires: May 2028)

Don Nesbitt serves as a County Commissioner joining the Board in 2024. He joined Beaumont Road VFD in 1989 and served on the Board of Directors of Sheldon Fire & Rescue until he retired in early 2024. He is married and has worked as a Deputy for Harris County Pct. 3 Constables Office since 1996. He looks forward to many more years of service to the community.

Richard Palacios, Secretary (Term Expires: May 2028)

Richard Palacios joined the Board of County Commissioners in 2026, after retiring from a 39-year career at Shell Oil. He has served on his local Homeowners Association (HOA) Board since 2016, and continues to serve as the HOA Vice President, working directly with residents to maintain neighborhood safety, infrastructure, and community standards. He and his wife Mary have been married for 48 years, have one son and a new granddaughter, and have lived in the area since 2016. In his spare time, can usually be found working in his wood workshop. He looks forward to many years of service to the community.
